I like Machinima.com and believe much of their criticism is well done and entertaining. A favorite series of mine is “All Your History Are Belong To Us”, which recently published a “2011 in Review” feature completely embodying what’s wrong about this industry. The multitude of studio shutdowns, ridiculous lawsuits (Mojang and GeoHotz) and failure of daringly creative games like Bulletstorm are saddening to see, especially in a year that was otherwise very good for gaming with Portal 2 and the acquisition of First Amendment protection for gaming. Watch the videos, they’re well done and entertaining.
